June was my busiest month as a blogger yet. I worked with a few different writers and diversified the content that appears on this site. By the end of the month, I was glad that my blog had increased its traffic, but I was more pleased that I had expanded The Flat Circle's workload. Hopefully that has resulted in a better experience for readers.

Last week the Flat Circle celebrated its first anniversary. I started the blog a year ago because I felt the urge to find my creative voice. I had hoped that in doing so I would also be able to build a new professional profile. Almost one year after I resumed blogging, I am happy to begin the second phase of the Flat Circle
One year ago today I began a new adventure. 365 days, 117 posts, and 31,496 visitors later, the Flat Circle Blog has reached its first anniversary. In the one year that I have been blogging I have learned so much about writing, the world of pop-culture, and myself.

On Sunday, January 28, the Everything is Awesome Let’s F Cancer Podiversary Festival will take place at the Tattooed Mom in South Philadelphia. The event marks the second anniversary of the Philadelphia-area podcast Everything Is Awesome and is also a benefit to raise money for the cancer charity Lets F Cancer.
